Teeth Whitening

"Brighten your Smile Today!"

The procedure, commonly referred to as "teeth whitening," is recommended for situations where the teeth are healthy and in good condition but not white enough. Whitening agents will lighten the tooth pigment, resulting in a brighter, whiter color. Professional teeth whitening uses high-quality materials, ensuring no harm or damage to the tooth enamel.

It is crucial to follow the manufacturer's instructions and avoid drinking coffee, smoking, and consuming foods and beverages with dark pigments during the required period.

Please note that crowns and fillings do not change color!

Main types of whitening:

**At-Home Whitening** – Two strips: top and bottom, with no need for a tray, containing 6% Hydrogen Peroxide (HP) – Teeth Strips.
Alternatively, this can be done with a flexible silicone tray in which the patient applies a gel containing a derivative of hydrogen peroxide (up to 22% Carbamide Peroxide), which causes oxidation of the tooth pigment, leading to whitening.

**In-Office Whitening** – Performed in the clinic and lasts about an hour, during which an active whitening agent with a concentration of about 46% Hydrogen Peroxide (HP) is applied, with specific instructions for the following 3 days. The whitening agent is activated using an LED light. The process is simple, and the effect is immediate.

**Combined Whitening** – A combination of in-office whitening followed by the creation of a custom silicone tray for continued at-home whitening, enhancing the results.
