Dental Veneers

"Protect your Smile!"

This treatment provides dental veneers, available in porcelain or composite materials, to enhance the appearance of your smile by addressing imperfections such as discoloration, gaps, or damage.

• Porcelain Veneers (Porcelain Laminate Veneer)
Thin porcelain shells that are bonded to the front surfaces of the teeth, helping to create a natural, harmonious, and vibrant smile. This method involves slightly roughening the enamel of the tooth, and then bonding the porcelain veneer to the tooth. These veneers are used to restore and correct imperfections in the teeth, and their advantage is that they do not change color due to smoking, coffee, or other staining factors. They are ideal for a wide range of clinical situations, such as: teeth that have darkened due to root canal treatment or trauma, closing gaps between teeth, repairing broken teeth, changing the shape and proportions of teeth, correcting rotated teeth, and minor teeth alignment.

*Advantages of Porcelain Veneers*
Smile enhancement is achieved within 2-3 appointments, customized to each individual. The treatment is simple and fast.

*Disadvantages of Porcelain Veneers*
High cost, and to achieve a natural, aesthetic result, it is often necessary to apply veneers to multiple teeth (not just one).

• Composite Veneers
A veneer made from composite material, which is a complex resin-based substance. Composite veneers provide an aesthetic solution to many issues: restoring a broken tooth, closing gaps, correcting proportions, replacing or restoring teeth that have changed color, fixing surface defects, and minor color changes. The teeth are minimally prepared (up to 0.3mm) and sometimes no preparation is needed at all.

*Advantages of Composite Veneers
Lower cost, simple and quick treatment, with a noticeable change in the appearance of the teeth in just one appointment.

Disadvantages of Composite Veneers
Requires precise color matching, and sometimes multiple shades need to be blended to achieve the ideal color and translucency typical of natural enamel. Additionally, composite material absorbs pigments, so over time, the color of the veneers may change.
